A 3 Month Culturally Informed Mentoring Journey for Black Women Navigating Menopause with Grace and Vitality.
I See You.
You’ve spent years pouring into your family, your career, and your community. But now, as your body begins to shift, you might feel like the ground is moving beneath your feet.
Between the hot flashes, the brain fog, and the restless nights, the "old you" feels out of reach—and the healthcare system often doesn't have the answers that speak to your experience as a Black woman.
As a Black woman of mixed heritage, I know what it feels like to be unprepared, overwhelmed, and unseen. I struggled to find information, understanding, and support that reflected my experience. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
Research shows that Black women often enter menopause earlier—around age 49.6—and experience more severe symptoms like hot flashes, low mood, reduced libido, weight gain, increased stress, sleep disturbances, and brain fog for a longer duration.
Much of this is linked to prolonged activation of the stress system - often caused by lifelong exposure to racism, discrimination, and health inequities. This is not a personal failing - it is a systemic issue - and it deserves compassionate, culturally informed care.
A New Way of Healing.

We begin with the foundation - a diet that nourishes true health.
Whole, unprocessed foods restore balance,
working in harmony with your body’s natural wisdom.
Drawing on your cultural and culinary roots, we create a pattern of eating that feels familiar, sustaining, and alive.
Our work honours the whole you - body, mind, and emotions,
with prevention, nourishment, and healing at its heart.
We explore your inner relationship with food - your thoughts, emotions, environment, and history to understand what guides your choices.
Once the foundation is in place, I support you to gently release old, disease-forming habits through cleansing and rebuild your health with nutrient-rich foods through a time bound phase, restoring nourishment.
- Black and Brown women’s health and wellbeing
- Gut, bone, and joint health
- Increasing energy and vitality
- Emotional eating and self-healing
- Transitioning to a plant-based lifestyle
Our sessions offer a non-judgemental space to explore your relationship with food and health, at your own pace.
